I found this blog post from AdamW&#39;s blog in my feed reader.<br /><br />When I went to the design team page I didn&#39;t see anything that looked like &#39;vote&#39; and under current projects (Release artwork) it mentioned Fedora 12. It hurts to say this but OpenSUSE, Ubuntu and some other distributions have done quite a good job of making their distribution look good, and offering complete themes. I still find missing icons here and there some really bad spacing... and just a general sense of no uniformity on the desktop. It feels hackish.
